20:22 <****> just a question is the arquitecture (hardware) open too?
20:22 <****> yes traza
20:22 <****> what kind of license is it?
20:22 <****> dunno
20:23 <****> I mena software (clear).. but uh.. dunno.. (looking.. )
20:23 <****> okok who resurrected Politics101?
20:25 <****> The hardware (Neo) is proprietary in the sense that there are no schematics available. Documentation for most of the components, however, is available. Some selected parts do not have public docs, and the community will have to rely on drivers written by those who have signed the appropriate legal NDA docs.
20:29 <****> well, partly good open source drivers are a better documentation than the official docs
20:35 <****> iffy, but for some stuff, that's all we're gonna have anyway
20:40 <****> merry xmas everyone
20:41 <****> xmas is overated
20:41 <****> BAH HUMBUG

21:24 <****> Happy Xmas
21:29 <****> traza: you can control anything that has drivers that let you control stuff
21:30 <****> zash, :s... that sounds like phreaking time is back...
22:30 <****> hm, http://www.i4u.com/article13643.html
22:36 <****> The optical touch sensor array supports up to 5 points.
22:36 <****> sounds nice
22:42 <****> ugh, sony
22:46 <****> anyone know what the difference between the two heads of the org.openembedded.dev branch on the monotone.openmoko.org server?
22:46 <****>" to find out
22:47 <****> hmmm...there should be an 'is' in there.
22:48 <****> okay...cool. mokomakefile hadn't been compiling anything new for about 2 weeks, so I looked carefully at warning messages and it has a complaint about 2 heads, so I manually spec'd the newer head in the makefile. haven't had time to test it yet.
23:01 <****> cool....apparently someone merged the heads. We'll see how it builds now :) back to work for me!
23:45 <****> ave
23:53 <****> Anyone here working on Qtopia code running on the Neo?
