15:31 <****> T5?
15:31 <****> Sup3rkiddo: I just have dialer, and calculator ...
15:32 <****> Yes
15:32 <****> palm Tungsten T5
15:32 <****> Should'nt home be always in the upper menu ?
15:33 <****> (I know it's not a phone ... I just wanted something to test whatever I'll do ... I'm waiting for gta02)
15:34 <****> ah, there's probably no support for the T5 keys in neod yet
15:34 <****> patches welcome :)
15:35 <****> mickeyl: I'll try ... and do :)
15:35 <****> cool

15:52 <****> zilux: thank you
16:31 <****> hm, is there a good gps-monitor on the buildhost that shows the signal of all the satellites?
16:32 <****> it varies by location
16:40 <****> Re: Building openmoko without network access: http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3374
16:40 <****> (g'mornin')
17:00 <****> Evening
17:00 <****> afternoon
17:01 <****> details :P
17:02 <****> anyone from greece around ?
17:03 <****> How "only for developers" is the phone at the moment? The Neo1973 that is. I read that it is not for open public, but calling me public would be some stretch. Although not at dev level i know a bit. Would it be doable?
17:03 <****> That is to say, i know nothing of the phone as such.
17:05 <****> nardul: the gta02 might workout, i don't think you would be happy with the gta01 currently sold
17:05 <****> As in completely not usable?
17:06 <****> nardul: not usable as every-day phone
17:07 <****> okay. Curses. I'll have to wait for gta02 then.
17:07 <****> there's a total lack of powermanagement, so it's not possible to use the neo a half day of work
17:07 <****> ok
17:07 <****> not, sms messaging works now, placoing and recieving calls works. but in general, the battery-lifetime is to short, to less cpu, missing graphics and last but not least the wifi chip are reasons to wait fir gta02 :)
17:08 <****> wifi is overrated :)
17:08 <****> yes it is, if umts/wcdma is avaiable :)
17:08 <****> But true. Just wanted to find out. My current phone is as good as dead. sadly. it'll have to last a few months more.
17:10 <****> yes but somethink is wrong with dbus-eds
17:11 <****> sms event are ocours only with usb cable plugged
17:11 <****> uh, i haven't unplugged my neo for a while....
17:12 <****> my neo works without charging about 6 ~ 8h
17:12 <****> so...
17:12 <****> i think there is a lot of work to do...
17:13 <****> No kidding :) The question is. Is it being done?
17:48 <****> boy..transferring stuff at usb1.0 sucketh...

19:17 <****> rtp, ping?
19:20 <****> [blackb]: The snippet you've posted there indicates that the build system is working perfectly. There were build failures in the two build targets listed, it removed the failed builds, and then determined that it could not proceed without those builds being successful. So it stopped.
19:21 <****> You need to go back further in your logs to find out why those two targets failed, and correct whatever is wrong there.
19:22 <****> er, NineX even.
19:23 <****> [blackb]: I don't think that you can currently build openmoko on anything other than an Intel X86 host.
19:28 <****> mwester: i build on amd64
19:29 <****> NineX: Yeah, I got your question and [blackb] confused. Sorry.
19:36 <****> mwester:i could't run openmoko in a arm architecture?
20:23 <****> j_ack: pong

20:24 <****> http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Gutenflash
20:32 <****> [blackb]: you can't *build* openmoko on ARM; it runs on ARM just fine :)

23:40 <****> You need to go back further in your logs to find out why those two targets failed, and correct whatever is wrong there.

23:40 <****> (oops, I'm typing double it seems)
23:40 <****> My guess is that the OM stable repo doesn't have vala-native
23:41 <****> if that was the case, you would need to poke mickey_away
